Frequently asked questions
How do I start a developmental screening for my child?
From the home dashboard, select New Screening and choose your child's profile. You'll be guided through an age-appropriate set of questions across the development domains — it typically takes 10–15 minutes to complete.
Can I add more than one child to my account?
This is not available in the current version. We will be incorporating this in the next update soon
How are activity recommendations chosen?
Recommendations are generated from your child's screening results, stated goals, and ongoing progress. As new screenings are completed or activities are marked done, the recommendations update to reflect current needs.
Can my child's therapist see their progress?
You can share a progress summary directly with a therapist or educator from the Progress tab using the Share Report option. They don't need an account to view a shared report.
Is DevelUpKids a substitute for a clinical diagnosis?
No. DevelUpKids supports early identification and ongoing development tracking, but it does not replace a professional medical diagnosis, clinical evaluation, or treatment. See the note below for more detail.
How do I delete my account and data?
I found a bug, or a screening question doesn't apply to my child. What do I do?
Please email us with as much detail as you can — the child's age range, the screen or screening question involved, and what you expected to happen instead. Screenshots help a lot.
